Description
This project entailed a variety of different styles and elements to suit the customers requirements.
They wished to have a softwood timber deck installed outside their patio doors to utilise the morning sun and to fit sympathetically into their established planting schemes. The wooden deck itself was given some shape to break up the straight lines running on from the patio area.
Next to the timber deck, they wished to have a patio of Indian stone paving, where they were able to entertain.
The patio is slightly raised from the surrounding areas because of the natural fall of the garden, but with a series of brick retaining edges and steps it all fed in to the surrounding planting to make it all appear seamless. Surrounding the new patio, we installed an attractive Closeboard fence and gate to separate it from their driveway, where previously it had all been open.
Onto the drive itself, we installed a custom-built wooden car port, and re-gravelled the driveway.
